At 1756 Grotto, we believe that great food and great company go hand in hand. Our mission is to create memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional service, delicious farm to fork cuisine with exceptional rum and wine. Dine in our historic building circa 1756 or outside in our lush garden grotto.
Patron Chef Stephen Coe, is the creative force behind our menu. With a strong focus on supporting local farmers and fishermen, Chef Coe and his team create worldly dishes that feature Caribbean ingredients grown and harvested locally on St Croix.
Stephen Coe is a nationally recognized and award-winning chef, best known for his victory against celebrity chef Bobby Flay in “Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay” on the Food Network.
Along with his partners at Keep Left, LLC hospitality management, they are excited to add their skills to the St Croix culinary scene with 1756 Grotto, St Croix Wine Cellars, and Ciba Matta (opening soon).

Simply put, The Mill Boardwalk Bar and Brick Oven Pizza is exceptional harbor views, friendly service, and the best pizza on St. Croix!
